Patterns & Forces, Sem I
The study of objects began with searching for objects in our home which work with a certain mechanism. whether it be pushing, pulling or any other type of force. I searched for many objects which had its working under this type but didn't work with them.
Finally after lot of discussions with the faculty, I ended up with working with a Wada Maker which operates with the 'pushing' mechanism. We drew many drawings which show us the exact form of the object, the axis of it's force applied, the part which bears the force, different parts of input-output and the patterns followed by the object when it undergoes the force. In this module I learnt that an object is not just a simple body but many parts altogether make it an object. The mechanism of force application and how the object works. How an object is constituted of many other factors and how they operate together to make the work happen.
