In A City, Parts Do Not Make The Whole

The course intended at taking long city walks in Mumbai around Kandivali, Dadar, Churchgate, Byculla and Ghatkopar and seeing how the city gets formed under various factors. We also had a city walk in Nashik. Throughout the span of 4 weeks, we saw various movies, met new people and tried food all over the above mentioned spaces. We explored the city and tried framing a story which gets the spatial experience of the walks we held.

Walk 01: Kandivali - Charkop, Mumbai

Walk 02: Ghatkopar - Powai, Mumbai

Walk 03: Churchgate Fort, Mumbai

Walk 04: Dadar, Mumbai

Walk 05: Byculla, Mumbai

..and also a walk through the Nashik city.

Later on we as a group developed a storyline on our walk and published a collaborative book with other groups of students.
